when you and your wife have spent a full day canning your own fresh picked garden produce and it is the sound of jar lids sealing .
Ripe tomatoes , sliced green tomatoes , whole green cherry tomatoes , hot pepper jelly , elderberry
jelly , and hotdog stuffed bananna peppers .
Tired from a long day , but we will eat well this winter from what we raised in our own yard .
 
Those stuffed peppers sound especially good ;D I think many people are now starting to bottle/can there own goods. Not a bad way to go with a decent shelf life too.

I stand corrected :hello: I've been thinking about buying those Mason jars and doing some of my own canning, once I start growing stuff.. Hopefully next year :icon_thumleft: I could see myself getting those tomato peppers, stuffing them with ham and provolone, in olive oil :tongue3: to die for

Simple procedure . Working , rather than wishing can make it so .
