Frank Rich is trying to rewrite history, both the 1950s and his own from an article he wrote in 1995. He's probably The NY Times' most incoherent writer, which is difficult because they have plenty like him. Here's the counter-point to his blather.

Well.... regardless of anyone's take on Frank Rich's commentary... I found the film and narration eerily similar to MY childhood memories. I remember my sailor hat at Disney!
