I'm NOT a science fiction fan by any means. All of this Lord of the Rings, the movie with those blue creatures, etc. just don't do it for me. Heck, even the old Star Trek is mush in my book. But...

I do LOVE anything having to do with the unexplained, supernatural, UFO's, etc.

You people MUST see District 9. It is fantastic. The underlying premise of the flick is not really about aliens. It can also be a metaphor for other religions, races and so on.

It definitely had me by the seat of my pants. Check this one out when you can. I believe it's been on DVD for a while now.

Just saw it.....I liked it a lot, the GF hated it. But then again she likes "dancing with them stars", which I can't stand.

If Rupert Pupkin says to watch District 9 then I guess we better watch it! I saw it and thought it was pretty good. Not something I would put in and watch over and over... Hey Pupkin, ever seen Oldboy? No aliens, but unique to say the least. hehe....

tried watching it, a few months ago.
don't remember the ending.

started out thinking good premise,
but after awhile the fact I Do not Like storys
with a Lesson involved must have sunk in.

I'm 55, 56 Next month, set in my Ways,
& Don't want the New Generation to tell me how
I Should Think.

When it comes to TV & Movies,
Don't Teach me, Entertain Me !

Very good movie. The PC message wasn't as bad as it could have been.
