Hummm, I'm not sure if even metal detecting on land there is possible. I've heard Greece you might be able to get a percent finder's fee for sunken treasure, no idea about what Italy would do.

What I never understood is why you just don't jump in and go look, instead of notifying the world what your going to do so they can be there to take everything you find when you get out of the raft
