Diving metal detector

I'm thinking about buying new metal detector. I want one that works up to at least 50 feet underwater, but also works well on land. If it makes a difference, it's fresh water.

i was in the same boat as you. i really wanted a minelab excal2, but at $1500, i just couldn't justify it. i saved up $1,000 and sat on it for a couple months before one popped up on craigslist. it was barely used, and i talked the guy down to $700. been on plenty of shallow water and 20+ foot dives with it and she works GREAT
