I tested my T2 in various environments. First test was at the most recommended settings for iron infested sites. I put a quarter and 4 nails spread out within a foot of each other, for an air test together. I could barely, if ever, pick up the quarter. Then I tried the quarter alone, I couldn't pick it up past 7 or 8 inches in an air test. If I sent it to Teknetics, I have a warranty, would they fix this one or send me a new one and would it cost money? Also, is there anything I could do at home to try and make it work better.

Call the First Texas factory and talk to a Teck, ask them what to do,if you got warranty left you only have to pay shipping when you send it.
They would fix the one you own if "They" find there is anything wrong under warranty and ship it back to you .
Call and talk to Felix.

What about this for my T2, to get it completely up to date for $159. I will also buy a coil cover if I do this. I have $110 from my last W&E magazine article that can be used towards it. Is it worth it?
