Do you ask for halves/ikes at your dump banks?

Do you ask for halves/ikes even at your dump banks when you see the teller?

OR do you also ask for old "small head" bills?

I have not done either fearing the welcome is worn out already.

It wouldn't make sense for me because the teller would probably just hand me back my rolls that I just handed her!

Though I have asked the main teller to keep her eyes out for "big dollars" for me since I'm never dumping them....

I always ask for halves and big dollar coins. I enjoy using and spending ikes and halves.

Tellers offer me Ikes, and I avoid them like plague.

they offer them to me now, i used to ask all the time, now i don't have to, I always take them all!

I don't. It would look stupid to ask for halves when I just gave them a plastic bag containing 500 halves. I don't know for how much longer they'd welcome me if I did that.

My banks know what I do and so they will offer me unsearched halves and Ikes when I come in.

I ask for Ikes everywhere, rather "large dollar coins". People do occasionally get silver Ikes, Peace dollars or Morgan dollars when asking for large dollars. Of course, Ikes should be searched for errors and varieties, as some carry a considerable premium (friendly eagle variety, 1972 type 2, peg leg, talon head, etc.). Some coin dealers will pay over face for circulated Ikes, and they can be sold for about $25 for a 20 coin roll in eBay or Craigslist.

I have when I was dumping something else, but I don't want to get into picking up from my dump bank. I do use 2 different branches. Pretty sure they go in the coin machine. But I just don't want to pick up where I drop. I know I can't get large dollars there. I picked up some elsewhere and the coin machine won't take them at my dump. They go in the tellers drawer in an envelope. Eventually I think they go in the vault because the teller had no clue about the Ikes not going thru the machine, then the manager said she could sell them thru the vault. So I know if I tried to pick up there, I'd get stuff I searched already.
I could possibly try halves, hopefully I can get rolls there. But I definitely don't want to look bad, picking up halves and then dumping them right back on them. Could look shady.
