Do you get more depth with 10" coil than 8" on Minelab Excalibur?

Was wondering if you get more depth on coins and jewelry with the 10" rather than the 8" coil on Minelab Excalibur or is it about the same? It will be used for underwater detecting with scuba tanks. Hope to hear all of your suggestions! Thanks! Aloha

You would get 8 foot of depth with the 8 and 10 foot of depth with the 10 giver or take 8 foot.
