A friend and I went digging and got a little wet. Twice we had to wait out the rain for about ten minutes each time. I did manage one 1904 Indian head cent, a toy ring, part of another, two old lipstick tubes, some neat old buttons and some other items. Had fun as always!

Nice finds Mike.

That's too weird Mike, I had a very similar day and will post later after church. Are those buttons or tokens? Either way very nice finds.

Sweet buttons, Mike. :icon_thumright: I believe I've dug that Harvester button before. Congrats!

HH
p.s. Where either lipstick your color? :icon_scratch: :laughing7:

What an interesting button you dug Mike. What is the research on the Nunnallys Engineer train button?

nice digs Mike! love the greenie and the railroad button

Mike, your lipstick tube on the top, looks a lot like a valvestem cover off a model A. No kidding.

Nice finds Mike :-)

Love the old buckel & buttons!

Looks like an old copper reed of some type there too (the oblong piece with the tongue)!

And I agree with Muleskinner on the "lipstick tube" = looks like a valve stem cover off a model A ---- I have found many of them --- I hunt a site where they made them and they're littered everywhere - have dug like 200 or more!

Cool lipstick tubes and well done on a nice green Indian!!:icon_thumright:
