What I'm looking for is the cord only if you have a dead coil I'd like to buy the cord. Thank you.

For what detector, connectors are different?

Sorry, an Etrac.

Don't own a minilab, but can't you just get the connector and make your own cheaper

I want to put a new cord on it, the FBS cord is different from all other brands, it's coiled at the upper part of the cable, not straight from top to bottom.

Dan...you may know but when you do this cord swap make sure to keep the length exactly the same as the coil/cord combo is all tuned as a unit. Just FYI if you didn't know already...good luck!

I've decided to go another route, I'm going to try and "recoat" the cable, can't any worse than what I have now.

I had an older eq2 coil the cable sheathing was dry rotted. So I peeled of all the loose stuff and glued the 2 wires together in several spots to keep them together. I then sprayed the cable with black plasti-dip in the spray can version worked great and looked good. Good luck!

That's the same type of coil I have with the same problem and the solution I was going to try, good to hear it works, looks like I'm set!! Thanks.
