Does anyone know what type of chain this is?

You guys have always been great helping me figure out what certain things are so hopefully you can help with this one? I have a 18kt gold chain. It looks to have 2 layers to it. Very solid and heavy more of a mans chain. I know its not at all a popular u.s style. Does anyone know the type of chain this is style etc... Or where it might originate from? The 2 pics are front and side of chain. Thanks guys!!

It's a version of what they call "miami-cuban curb link" chain (different sizes and thicknesses look a little different, as does when they combine different colored gold). Nice!!! My third favorite type of link.
