I got a box with the number 401 handwritten on a cube box delivered by Brinks. Does anybody know what it means?

I have gotten silver both times it has shown up. The first time it had 237 40% and the second just 8 40%.

looks like the coin shorter is marking the boxes with silver in them...

237 40% ??? that would be a free box plus a nice dinner and tip

Maybe FormerTeller or someone else could shed some light on this, but it is certainly not an official code, as it's handwritten. It's probably just the kind of note you might find written on the road or on a wooden stud.

Maybe they were counting boxes and outing numbers on what boxes go to which banks. No idea though, purely speculation.

Sometimes my boxes have handwritten math on them. Not sure what to make of it, but anything other than a stamped code most likely isn't official from brinks
