No, mine doesn't seem interest at all either. The good news is is that my 9 year old daughter enjoys going out with me when the weather is warm, and my 5 year old son seems to be leaning towards it as well! Future metal detectors in the making!!

Ok we all know I am the lucky one as my wife bobbie definetly detects with me. It does us both good as it gives us quality time together every weekend. This isnt to say we arent competitive with eachother cause we are from the get go. if your wife show interest go ahead and get her a machine, or if you have a couple let her use one of yours. The one comment I never hear around my house is"your going out detecting again"?. Fact is Bobbie , is usually ready to roll out of here on Saturday morning before I am

I just started, and my 3 teenage daughters (15, 17, 19) just love to be the digger! My hubby is an OTR driver. He comes home today for a three day weekend. He always asks where we went and what we found. I will surely find out this weekend how interested he really is! Time to drag his arse out there and get some exercise!

She can't stand all the beeping. As you might figure, I don't play with my machine in the house too often...

My girlfriend tried it for about an hour and said "this is way too boring". Oh well, she doesnt give me a hard time about doing it though. However, I do have a 10 year old daughter who really likes to go, so I am fortunate for that.

I was the first one to do it. Then I met my husband and got him interested in it too! He had to get his own MD last year because he was tired of being my digger It's a great hobby to have together!

Wife enjoys going out MDing with me, in fact she is the one who got me started in the hobby. The first couple of times she accompany me out detecting she help me dig or stand around watching me try to find my target. Asked her if she would like her own MD, yes. So off to the MD shop and buy her a Whites IDX Pro, which she loves.

Mine just got into it with me after 3.5 years of being together,

I think she's hooked now after finding a silver ring her 2nd time out with me,

I just ordered her the Garrett 250 for her B/day and it'll be here this coming Tuesday~!
