Finally got some rain last night (not enough) but I tried detecting a few hours this afternoon. Site dates to at least 1850, but most of what Ive found there is modern. Handful of post 1983 Lincoln’s, a few pre 1983s, a 1941 and 1925 wheat and a 1980 dime. Glass knob type thing….assuming is a pull for a drawer….hit like a silver quarter on the machine, assuming there’s brass under the glass. Couple pieces of a pocket watch, an old church key, and a piece of horse tack. Best two finds of the day were the last 2 on way to truck…..a 1926 dog tag, followed by a pair (91 and 92) on the same ring.

Nice old dog tag, I alao think that's probably a drawer pull. Well done.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Great finds - congrats !
I really like finding old Dog Tags - can read the date on the 1926 but not the others.
