Dog license, nip & tuck tavern token

Finally made it out detecting. Due to a heavy work schedule, I haven't been able to get out over the last few weeks. Tonights plans were to hit up an owner about an old house. Permission denied! He was nice about it so I headed to a house where I have found a lot of wheat pennies and have covered it pretty hard. Dug the week signals and got some junk and a couple keepers. Only had about an hour to swing.

Better than gettin' shut out! Glad you had a chance to detect - too bad about the denial but maybe the detecting gods will smile on you and throw a banner find your way...

VERY COOL FINDS!!! Old tokens & old dog tags are some of my favorite treasures to find! It seems like we always expect to find old coins and such, but these old tokens & tags can really make your day a success when you dig 'em!

CONGRAT'S!!!

Nice finds, WH! Really like the dog tag....relics with dates are good. Had to get the ol' map book out and see where Marcellus, MI was. Glad you got out.

The token is a stellar find in my opinion, congrats! There's plenty more old homes out there and I get more permissions than denials, so hit 'em all up.
