✅ SOLVED Domed buttons? Help identifying age

Hi all. Thanks for the help on the last post.

I’ve found a few of these items at the same 1800s site. Hollow brass domes with an iron nib on the underside. I’m thinking possibly an old type of button. Any thoughts as to the age or similar examples? Thanks!
