Headed out to do some door knocking this morning . First house was a no ...but undeterred I moved on . The second house was a no one home . So I figured the third time is the charm . Bingo, I got a sure go ahead . During the course of our conversation I found out the owner of the house had recently recieved a small container of coins from her late uncle and asked if I would be interested in looking at them . I said sure I would be interested . After looking at a pile of older non silver nickels I did find some silver coins . We agreed on a price based on what spot is today and I walked away with a little silver, a cool token , a Susan B Anthony and my favorite find..... a 1913 Canadian Five cent piece . Wow are they small . Now im off to dig with a little silver already in the bag.

Well that sounded fun! Congratz on the pre-dig silver and Good Luck on the hunt!!! Show us what you find.

I sure wouldn't complain about that opportunity..:occasion14:

Good job on the permission and the pre-hunt silver. Those little silver fishscales are tiny. I have dug quite a few of them, they must have been really easy to lose.

Nothing like easy hunting with no digging required, nice!

Hope you score some nice old silver in the ground too.

Like those 5c silvers from Canada!!!! Nice score!!!!
