I heard this story on the radio as I was driving yesterday.

One of the original dresses worn by Judy Garland was discovered by the drama department coordinator at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. In 1972, actress Mercedes McCambridge gave the Catholic University of America a dress worn by Judy Garland in the "Wizard of Oz."

there are some crazy stories about her shoes.one set was stolen and found years later.i got the see one pair and it was really cool.
