This button came from a site that has a family graveyard next to it with gravestones showing dates as far back as 1863 and a history dating a bit further back than that. I've tentatively dated this to 1810 - 1850, but am looking to see if anyone can help me identify the maker. The six point star looks to be found on some other buttons I've seen, is that common to a maker or this style button? Thanks for your help in IDing he make if possible. The front is flat, can't make out if it fad anything at one point in time.
