Went to a local park today which I normally don't hunt that often. Managed two mercs a 1943-d and a 191?-d...also a flattened Indian Head penny.

That is very cool. I think there was a WW2 era Easter egg hunt in that park, wherein they taped those old Mercs to the colored eggs...hah!

I've never had a silver coin streak like this one. Last year total I think I found 20 silver...I'm already almost at that after a month this year. It's got to be the detector...The Eagle Spectrum goes deep and screams on silver. The only detector I've had that even came close to the Spectrum was a Fisher Coinstrike which loved Indian Heads.
