Double standard? Let's list the political forums on this site

Recently a forum on this site was deleted. It had to do with the U.S. Bill Of Rights Second Amendment. For those who aren’t knowledgeable about the U.S. Bill of Rights, the second amendment is blatantly about…Oh my gosh!!..GUNS!
Many members of this board have expressed their frustration because they were deeply invested in the content and the vigorous interaction of the forum. Many people on this site post finds, questions and “What is it” queries that are gun related. Hell, you can’t discuss much of the history of America nor the metal detector finds in your local community without including something about guns, As far as I saw, no one ever jumped the shark to advocate gun violence on this forum; it was simply gun owners or relic hunters sharing info about guns.
Then, all of a sudden the owner(s) of this forum decided that the 2nd amendment forum would be deleted; apparently due to the belief that the 2nd Amendment Forum is a “political” forum and political forums are not allowed on TN.com.
Do any of you see any other forums on TN.com that are political?
Let’s let the admins know that if the 2nd Amendment isn’t welcome here, neither are any other politically correct propaganda that might be considered “political.”
Let’s start a list.

there is no right to metal detect ergo it is not being taken away

Careful "Children" ! this thread is subject to deletion at any time
You may not.... Start a thread to specifically promote or discuss politics or religion or respond in a political or religious fashion to a post if it's not somehow tied to treasure hunting.

You didnt do your homework davest, youre WRONG.The question did ask if there was a right to metal detect. The question asked "WHAT" gives you the right to metal detect.

Babyneedsnewpairofshoes..

I just looked and your not a mod here.

Back off. You know politics is not allowed....

It is not open for debate either, take the politics to http://2nd-amendment.proboards.com/

Warning any further attempts to create problems over this on TreasureNet will earn timeout.

Further arguement is pointless.

TN is a private business and has the right to set it's on rules about what is posted on it's forums....

OK, TH and Jeff. Guess I was scratching an itch. You're right. Sorry.
And I appreciate the line you're walking.

Lines always have to be checked for tautness and strength before treading on them.:laughing7:
