I found this while I was walking to a dump that I dig. I only kept it because it looks like it has a crust on it that I've heard meteorites have. I know it's doubtful but I figured I would let the experts way in on it. You never know unless you ask. Thanks everyone and HH.

P.S. I thought I posted this about 15 minutes ago but I guess it didn't go through.

It has a very slight pull but I do not have a strong magnet. I just thought that thin outside layer resembled a fusion crust but I am less than a novice. Thanks for the response! HH

Showing any pull to a magnet is a plus. Good luck!

Are there any at home tests besides a magnet that could help me?

How does it look under a decent magnifier?

Sorry but I don't have one.

Try to make a small window with a file and see what the inside looks like. Also you might want to weigh the rock.

Try this nickel/iron test from page 251 of Norton's field guide. TTC
