I was there early,this place is so peaceful and quiet,quite pretty too.These Iris grow wild as do the Indian Paint Brush.
These benches are held down by a combo lock cable,looks like some hooligans figured the combo,that's a good 10 foot up.
If you sat on that bench this is what you'd see..what's left of the dam and water gates to the canal.
I was about 20 foot above the river bank looking down on these Mallards.
A bunch of them way out there snoozing in the morning sun.
Breeding time for the River Carp,7 males after 1 female.
This caught my attention,to bad it was junk.
I think this guy wants to learn tree climbing.
When the water gets lower this has been a good island for old stuff.
On my way out I see this along the path.
