Just wondering how many of my fellow detector friends have been sick with this years viruses going around.This time last year I was detecting and never once got sick.Boy what a year difference.Have this whatever you call it started as sore throat/earache/sinus/congestion/////etc.Put on antibiotics for infection didn't do shat to it.Its about a stubborn as my wife letting me get away from doing chores to go detecting.Worse I have ever had going on 3 weeks now.Freinds say pneumoinia or mild case.What ever it is pretty bad.Cold virus last a week usually for me.Cant wait to go detecting again .10 inches snow on the ground with 12 degrees if go out just asking for trouble.What I am trying to say everybody wrap up don't take chances with this virus and get to the doc if you really start to feel bad.Lots of my friends have had different strains of this some enduring a 3 day stay at the hospital.vanzutphen

Maybe its influenza, it can last for a few weeks and antibiotics don't touch it. Hope you feel,better soon.

Take it easy the different strains of flu virus now adays are very resistant to antibiotics.

Had it early fall, 3 weeks to get over it. Dr. Gave me the flu shot after it any how.
Drink plenty of fluids, and believe it or not chicken soup does help! Stay warm, or try.
