I highly doubt I am the only one who has struggled with getting medical care. One had to lie to get into see them saying they have no cough even if they have something as simple as post nasal drip from sinus disease!
I went to one of the Carson City area groups first and couldn't even get seen at all. I won't recommend that group ever now
Seriously, I needed antibiotics for a sinus infection that was reoccurring!

The paranoyia of a cough is outrageous. If I clear my throat in Wally World everyone moves back 20 feet too.

I wonder what's going on with others that have copd, etc.?

See if your insurance had Teladoc. I see a doc via a phone call or video call.

I do not own nor have access to a computer.

That is actually a very useful thing in my mind.

Can't get a script for an antibiotic ? I use fishmox , it is the same as people amoxicillin. do some research it's easy to obtain. I am not a doctor nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
many good doctors only see established patients other have to rely on a doc in the box.

GOOD TO KNOW! did some basic research and looks like the only issue is figuring out dosing

the capsules are the exact same as for human use . they come from the same place and look the same. the bottle is the only difference.
I use them only when I know I need it and also use them on livestock.
dosage and lots of info is on the net about this . being a homesteader I've been doing this for years. but like I said I'm not a doctor and this is simply what I do.

Thinks things are bad now, wait ‘till this fall when cold and flu season kick in. Won’t be pretty.

Must be a regional issue, no problem seeing a doctor in Florida, walk in clinics and Family doctor has worked for me.

I just left FL 2 months ago, my Dr. There refused to prescribe, he looked 78 years old.

For most Americans Collateral damage of virus due to response is worse than actual virus. Medical toll is probably huge. Sure telemed or telehealth is great for basic mostly non emergency issues but no doubt a lot of serious medical problems are going undiagnosed and untreated or inadequately treated. Forget about dental care.

a good Doctor will prescribe what you need NOT what you think you need regardless of how old he looks.
prejudice remarks about older folks won't win you any points for sure.

My urologist closed on Fridays and that's about it. He probably is using this Covid farce as an excuse to have a 3 day weekend. Can't say I blame him. I try to keep Dr visits to a minimum but old age is making that difficult.

They don’t have urgent care or walk in clinics where you are? There are three in Carson city.
