Drag magnet

Am new to meteorites hunting . Where am at i don't think its legal to use a metal detector . I know there here i seen one once that might of reached the ground . I was thinking of building a Drag magnet . Maybe size 0.1 M x 1 M with 100 kilo to 1000 kilo force am just guessing all this . weight 5-10 kilos maybe more i have no idea the weight of the magnets . Anybody have any ideas . might be able to fill 75 mm or 100mm EMT pipe with magnets ?
Whats the density of super magnets i have to look it up . Thanks

your best bet is floor sweeper magnets, but you will need to build a 12 Gage aluminum sheet metal shield that you can clean it with just carefully pull off the shield and anything you have picked up will fall off the aluminum shield.
