Been a bit busy and forgot to post this. Got out to a field last week. Grass was really high and didn't find much, but did manage an 1805 Draped Bust half cent. I find plenty of large cents but not many half cents. Although it's pretty worn, it's fairly balanced. I'll take it any day.

Very pretty. Nice work, Don.

Congratz! The half cent will probably always be on my bucket list!

A draped bust of ANY kind is high on my bucket list!

Congrats Don :icon_thumright:

Really nice. That is one still hanging on my bucket list.

Great hard-to-find coin, and nice condition for a dug copper.

Thats a great looking Draped Bust half cent Don! You're right, good balance and patina on it. I've only found two classic head half cents and they are roasted. Great coin Don :icon_thumright:

Congrats on a nice half cent. Like you, I've managed to find several LC's, but only one half cent to date (1806).

Sweet Don! Congrats

Great details on that old lady! Great save! Every bit as good as a LC....especially being a draped bust. Hope you find more.

That's a nice one Don. :headbang: Only half cent I ever found was a classic head 1809.

Nice half cent, from the time of Napoleon's early years in power! :treasurechest::thumbsup:

That's a beauty Don. Of the 5 draped half cents I've found, only one looks as nice as yours. GREAT FIND man!

Great find !!! Congratulations on that super find!

1805? Damn! Good for you! :notworthy:
