Drive Through

Has anyone every asked for halves through the drive through at a bank? Reason why I ask is that I'm not able to hunt any bank on my way to work because of my schedule. However there are a few banks that open their drive through service early enough to stop by on the way to work. I just don't want to get laughed at.

Just yesterday I stopped at the drive through at an out of town bank. I asked her if she could ask the teller line for halves. $18.50 netted one 62D.

i ask sometimes if they can call the drive thru because it s a seperate building at some locations . i then walk accross and get what they have .

I think I said the same thing yesterday in another thread, but I typically go into the lobby unless it is a drive-thru only branch or the drive-thru is completely disconnected from the main branch. If it in the same building the lobby tellers will usually call back to the drive-thru, especially if you ask. My reasoning is that the lobby is where most customers with rolled coin will go anyway.

That said, certainly nothing wrong with going through the drive-thru, and it definitely worked out for you this morning.
