Came upon a old home site while driving back roads , tracked down owner of property to seek permission, he said there was never a house located there! Someone had dumped their trash there years ago, two flying eagles !

Congratulations on finds. Good job.
Might want to rethink your thread's title. Sounds like you found some double eagle coins.

The famous words "I never remembered a house there"
Well if you were a 100 yrs older you might comes the thought.

Well done on the coppers and the other finds.
Is there anything inscription on the ring?

Nice finds. Still great flying eagles even if the dates are unreadable! Congratulations!

I'll take that kind of trash any day! Congratulations.

Outstanding Finds! :icon_thumright:
That one Flying Eagle Cent is interesting...and, don't we see a Seated Liberty Half Dime...?
With that old pocket change, I'd return again and again...!
