Driving Me Crazy! Pottery Mark
I have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out the maker mark of this piece. I am fairly new to collection but have many books about maker marks and whatnot but cannot find it anywhere. It doesn't help that I can't read what it says on the bottom. The bottom is incised with what appears to be a bull or ox head with horns. There are letter above that that kind of look like "ROIZUD" or something but no matter what angle I take a picture or what kind of light I use, I can't get it any clearer. It is quite large and bulbous and even doing a pencil rubbing doesn't help. Please help me! I've attached links to images of the item in question. Oh, there appears to be a "V" and then a "T" on either side of the bull upside down if that helps. Thanks! Oh, and it is about 11" high.
