Dug at my Colonial site "Any Ideals"?

OK...here the scoop.. most of the stuff is pretty obvious 2 fired balls, bone fragment, wedge, nail, half of horse bridle. Question... what is the tube thing in the upper left hand corner?

All was dug at my colonial spot. Not sure if its old or not. It was about 8" down, about the same depth as every thing else found at the spot. I'm not sure what its made of copper or what. So far I've found all relics, no trash/junk at this spot
