After finding the 1898 IHP last week I got the fever and had to get back at it. I tried the same spot as the penny yesterday but only found clad. After working a few hours this morning I went to a park I haven't been before. It's a huge park so I thought if there were any old houses here at one time I should try swinging closer to the street thinking I would be at the front yard of the house where there would have been more traffic. Well I got a good 29-30. Loud and clear at 10". I had already found a few clad quarters at 4"-6" depth so Im thinking this could be good. After a little digging out pops this beauty. 1876 Seated Liberty Quarter. And it's a Carson City in Florida. Go figure. Is that rare to find CC coins in the far south? This is my first Seated Quarter and my first CC coin. Thanks for reading. HH

Oh man, thats nice coin :occasion14:

I really hope to dig a seated quarter someday!

That’s a sweet find, congrats to you!

That 1898 IHC has now opened the doors for bigger and better things in the 1800s for you. Congratulations on the Seated Quarter!

Beautiful quarter!

That's a heck of a coin to break into the 1800's with ??!!! nice !

oops sorry didn't read it correctly, this is your SECOND 1800's coin - still awesome!!!

Way to go your on a roll and got a good hunting spot. Keep em coming

Congrats keep the luck rolling.

Wow ... that's a beautiful coin for sure - congrats !

That's quite an entrance into the 1800s time span.

Such a beautiful coin!!!! Congratulatuons! The " cc" makes it extra special in my book.

Very nice, one hundred years since the birth of America makes that a centennial Quarter. Pretty cool.

sweet find. congrats!

Nice coin  Seated silver has been my nemesis. I have only dug four seated dimes in 35 years a no seated quarters!

A very nice and in good condition cc quarter.

You are killing it! IHP, Seated Quarter. What are you going to find next, a $5 gold piece?
