🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Dug In Newly Tilled Field

[Dismal Swampy]

Dug this up on Saturday along with some flat buttons and horse buckles.
Its got me pumped as it rang up in the 90s with my Garrett vortex vx9
3"× 5" and weighs about 4lbs. Its not magnetic so unsure on type of metal.
Field I found it on has been farmed since mid 1700s I've been told. Almost looks like a mold of some sort ??

There was a rail road and train depot back in the early 1900s that went through the field as well a small depot right at front corner.

Nice find and good to know as I recently dug up a similar brass babbit and didn't know what it was used for. I also dug up a similar item that was made or lead and Im trying to figure out what it was used for.

That must I'd rang up load. Still it should be $15.00 worth of scrap I'm that chunk.
