Dumb Snuffer Bottle Question

Well I'm new to gold panning, etc. How do I get the gold flakes from the snuffer bottle into the glass vial. I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it without loosing any of the gold flakes.

The best snuffer bottles are the ones with the cone tips when you need to remove the gold pull the tube out fill the vile with water and tip the snuffer upside down in the vile. The gold being heavier should fall right into the vile. Might take a little shaking. Remove snuffer and cap vile. You should do this over your pan just incase something goes wrong.

I usually empty the snuffer into a coffee filter. let dry, then gently transfer to a sheet of paper creased in the middle. Then slide them into the bottle that you are collecting it in. This process allows you to get rid of any specks black sand that you have collected in the snuffer. Works for me.
