Hello. I am an ATPro owner....and I have been considering a minelab. A few of you have answered some of my other, recent posts..(different subject forums) and suggested Sovereigns for stability, versatility and depth. Looking on ebay...I see a steady stream of used Sov's and Explorers. Reasonable prices...$500-$700. I saw one E-Trac..it actualy sold for $1,400 used...so thats quite the resale value. (does that resale value alone prove that E-Trac is worth all that initial $$?) Havent seen any Safari's yet. Since you are Lab guys....Whats the big upgrade with E-Trac vs Expl and Safari? If you yourself upgraded from either of these ( Or Sov) did you actualy see your finds of value increase enough to justify the upgrade? Did you make finds that your other ML..(or other detector)...just plain missed? Or is it just a bit more info to help you decide whether or not to dig? One thing with the AT is its Iron Audio...I double check every good signal with it before digging...if it grunts...I move on. Im sure it has saved me hours of digging. From what I read, E-trac has similar capabilities....do the others?
