Eagle button era help?

Hello all, jus wondering if this button is WWI or WWII, have found several at a old torn down house site. THX for any help and HH

This is an uneducated guess, but I'd say WWI. It cleaned up nicely.

The Great Seal would date it from 1902-present, but the Scovill backmark would narrow it down from 1902-about 1918.

I agree WWI. Old "ring of dots" backmark, no stars. Scovill used up old stock and old dies when WWI broke out but it cant be older than 1902 because its the Great Seal type..
