early 1800's suspender clip?
This was found where several button finds that fall into the late 1700 and early 1800's period have been found. Possible suspender clip?...no lettering or markings on clip anywhere.
Now that I think about it, this type of clip could only be use to adjust the length of whatever was run through it....no way this could have clipped to pants.....oh well, back to what is it?
