Some more pictures, not sure if I posted these here before. These were mostly made in the late 1800s and early 1900s in Germany by hand. The last one has some lutz in it (gold sparkles).

Whats the value on those ? I had some just like them when I was a kid.
A fellow I know had collected marbles all his life, he is 70 now and has some serious health problems. His son didn't want his collection, his grandson didn't want it ether so he sold it. Sad ...

There are several books about them, you can pretty much take your pick. Robert Block and Everett Grist probably wrote the most popular/comprehensive ones. The values range widely.
