KKC got out to a new Colonial site today. It looks like my coil is still hot on the copper trail. I dug a corroded Draped Bust large cent and a decent King George II halfpenny.

Keep the passion high, folks!

Nice coins Kirk, you guys are really doing awesome on the coppers. I also like the bells and buttons, and that number 8 you found. ;D

HH,

MAN, THAT SOIL IS NOT FORGIVING ON COPPERS OVER THERE. LOOKS LIKE ALOT OF THE COINS WE FIND IN LITTLE OLD RI. STILL GREAT FINDS. KEEP EM COMIN..HH

The KG II is your winner for the day. Out of the five coppers, four of them were Colonial, which always puts a smile on our faces. :laughing9:

KKC is out of control!!!
Way to go Sir Kirk. Nice job on the coppa buddy. :icon_thumleft:
I see you even found a piece of eight. :tongue3:

You and your twin brother did well in the field today Kirk. You covered the King George's ...even if it was your brother that found the KG I.. :laughing7: ::) I assume this was KKC's first KG trifecta. :dontknow: The magic 100 number is fast approaching. :headbang: Keep it up.

Tk,

You guys really seem to set the standard that the rest of us are judged by. Congrats!

Nice old goodies but we're going to try and find a real "8"

Wish us luck... just not too much!

My first King George is going to be followed with a great celebration with fireworks, games, food and drink. I"ll have all you guys come to speak at the ceremony.

We will never catch up to the KKC at the rate there going, but we will try ;D.
Good job Kirk, keep it up.

Nice finds! That "8" might turn out to be a good relic. Is it decorated at all? Are there holes punched in, or braising marks on the piece?
