Early morning fishing.

No fish today,nice sunrise though.

The female is getting used to me,I threw a handful of corn out and she couldn't get out of the water fast enough.The male keeps his distance.

I've been waiting for this one since I started fishing this spring,a yearling now still sticking with mom on the other side of the river about 500 yards or a bit more.

Breeding adult spotted sand piper.
