Hi folks. Me and my buddy have just found an elaborate early Roman trumpet brooch. It is bronze with with some silver gilding seen. It was only 4 inch in pasture field. It is a rare find in good condition. Note the elaborate design. Finds Liason officer thinks it's 1st century AD. One is a bronze casting jet and a bronze bead I think plus other fragments of bronze. We are not used to Roman finds where we live North West England.
Thanks.
