East coast detecting

Seriously, sanded in conditions all over. :x hh an gl -Joe

Florida would be best bet for nice weather but might not be best hunting conditions...winter storms may strip some sand off of an East coast beach at anytime, anywhere...If you could make your choice right before your trip you might be able to hit the right beach at the right time...if you want to have nice weather, Florida is always going to be warmer than any state to the North. Florida central east coast will have air temp tomorrow of 79 with 72 degree water...people still swimming here.

Pretty much. A small cut will appear once in awhile. No storms last summer to errode beaches. Maybe we get some good north easters this year. Thats what im hoping for. Besides that the weather is freakin phanomial, just like LD said.

Thanks for all the replies. RJ

Great weather and all the beach sand you can carry to take back with you.

Better to try the Caribbean islands. It will be warmer, have more visitors (possible finds), but will be a bit more expensive this time of the year. If you have never been, it is worth the experience alone.
Sand seems to be a problem on the east coast right now. I have never seen so much in the 22 years of shallow water hunting. And that is form FL to New England beaches as many posters have said.

I plan on hunting St Thomas and San Juan this time next week.
