Easter day hunt 2008. (It's tough to get caught up) VERY LARGE SILVER!
Now that I can post again, I have a LOT to catch up on! I went out Easter day to a boulevard that I had worked many times before. Got a high pitched reading,(about 95 or 100 ) on the meter. I wanted to be careful with this one, since I thought it could be a long shot for a half find. I dug a nice thick, large plug and still got a nice high pitched signal from the hole. So I carefully loosened dirt around the area of the pinpoint. Then I saw it, A large silver edge peeking out, laying flat at the bottom of the 12" deep hole. I said please let it be a half, but to my surprise, it was much larger! A Peace type silver dollar! (1922). That was a nice Easter surprise! HH
