Met up with Marine Dad on Easter and hit a few locations. I had no idea I dug so much junk until emptying the pouch tonight! Always fun digging silver nickels!

@ Batts - Funny you should say this since I am packing up for a 3 day hunting trip in Southern IL. I got permission to hunt some old school yards that are on the 1875 map. Camping and detecting? Can't get much better than that. Plus my local park is all hunted out except when Pocket Spill goes there! and my bike needs a tune up. One of the sites I'll be at has never been plowed over and still has the limestone walk that led to the front door. I'm hoping for some seated quarters and a half eagle goldie!
