Fisher discontinued the CZ20. Don't know why. I think when they were available they went for about $900, not sure though.

I looked hard and found 1 and the dealer wants 1080.00 for it, thats with taxs. I was just woundering if that sounded like a good price?

Go for it! They have been going for 700/800 used.If you can get a new one,do it!

Fantastic detector at that price. Only thing close is a Minelab Excalibur 1000 and it's around $1,295 new without tax.

You can set it for disc. setting of 1, and just dig the middle tones and forget the higher tones of coins and just scoop up the gold and pull tabs. Tune out the pull tabs on detectors and lose about 80% of the gold rings. The larger coil is the only way to go.
