Up until less than two weeks ago I couldn`t hardly buy a wheat, that sure has changed over the last few hunts, starting to pile them up again!
The silvers are still coming, up to 69 FTY now, but I`m happier about my Indians, up to 15 FTY now!
The two Indians I found last Saturday were probably the easiest I`ll ever find, I was going along a sidewalk and got a solid 20, when I looked down I
thought I saw a Zincoln sitting right on the ground by a big root. When I bent down to look at it I saw the One Cent and shield and was shocked to see an
1899 Indian! It must have rained hard there to completely wash out that root and expose that beautiful little coin. After I picked it up I resumed swinging and
immediately got another signal, this time a 23, and when I looked down, there sat another Indian, this one was 1889!
The two coins were only
about a foot apart from each other, must have been dropped at the same time.
I spent about an hour in the area hoping for another one, but was able to find a 1901 V-nickel, so that was nice.
This weekend I had a permission to do in town and on the second hole found a 1891 Indian, and later on a 1917 Merc!
Sunday I went back to where I found the two Indians and searched the next street over and found all my silvers for the day in about an hour, the best
being a 1916 Merc!! I got excited for a moment, but once I cleaned it up I found out it was a S mint.
Found lots more wheats again and another Indian and three really cool tokens, overall a good last few days.
