All surface finds from one site of about 2 1/2 acres over the last 40 years or so . This camp is just across what was a meadow from the Tilly's Hill site that I have posted so many finds from over the years . All personal finds N. California . Paleo to Historic a little more info this is not all of my finds from this site I have a case or two of Slate and Basalt points I just found a couple of slate points a couple of days ago .

Did I say 1 week?
What I was trying to say was “1 week on, 1 week off” doing meaningless chores seem like summer camp!

Very nice frame Dennis... I truly admire all your crystal clear points! Thanks for the showing.

Fat, explain please. Your humor is difficult for me occasionally.

Beautiful points Dennis. I always love seeing your killer frames especially those Crystal Points. I've never found a whole Crystal Point over on the east side, only a couple broken ones.

Thanks they sure loved that material on this side Apple hill had a big crystal outcrop nearby and produced some excellent points . And Tilly's Hill had crystal out crops all over and the camps close to home were loaded . I found my first crystal point on the north side of the middle fork of the American River placer county . I was sure doing the arrowhead dance that day still finding them but a long way apart . I'm cleaning off my work bench so I can finish a new case I have a bunch of points to case up from Tilly's Hill . With this Covid 19 I've been staying home and doing a little screening and finding a few . Someday we will have to meet up over on the 447 for a hunt .

You've done too good on the cases thus far to have a sub-standard one show up. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Some of those points seem so sharp, thin and delicate (especially that center piece), it’s a wonder how they are presently intact.

Beautiful!

The soil is like sandy loam and not much movement unless a gopher pushes one out . Even some of the early points are still sharp the camp is fairly flat and not much erosion over the thousands of years . This camp was untouched until they subdivided and cut roads right across the main sections . There was a large area to hunt when it was still all dirt roads a little rain and points would show its now paved and little to hunt . I still walk the ditches after a good rain and find a few its raining Right now and has me dreaming of crystal .

Excellent display of artifacts south, cool frame too.

What's the tool in pic3 next to the tape measure?

A Dowel Jig so I can drill a straight hole to place a wood dowel in each corner .

Worked on my new case found enough foam and material to get started I'm thinking of going with something like this . Still moving and changing points and might add a string of beads or two all the points are from Tilly's Hill personal finds still sorting .
