Thanks all the way to historic times Obsidian artifacts are rare finds where I hunt locally. But well-made if you find them.

The opposite up north. I’ve yet to find a basalt or stone point in northern california. But I don’t travel around looking. Most areas are federally managed land so the opportunity is limited.
