I use a V Max pin pointer that came with my Ace 250 last year. I bought the 250 thru Kellyco.com and the pin pointer was an added bonus. I believe it was around a 80 dollar value. I never go out without it. It saves time and frustration. When I first started it took some time getting used to the pin pointer on my 250, the hand held tool saved me a lot of time. TMAN...

I use a Sunray Pinpointer.

I couldn't live without one.

Only problem, it Spoils your eyes.
you never have to look for those tiny
pieces of metal, which come out with the dirt.
the pinpointer will find it, before your eyes see it.

Plus, You won't need to dig a 35 foot deep hole to find the object
just to the side of your hole, and 2" deep ;)

I've been using a cheapie from harbour freight for a few weeks now. Don't use it everytime, but its nice when you get a tough one.
