I hunted an elementary school about 3 miles from my house today. The thing is I didn't know it was there until last week. It's strange because the elementary school is combined with a middle school.
Anyway. To my surprise. It was loaded with coins and GOLD! I found about $8.00 in clad and 2 14k gold rings. One sterling silver bracelet and a 9999 gold pendant.

It was a fun day! I'm happy just to get out and detect. Check it out...

Here's the pendant up close. Its pretty heavy. ;)

Going back tomorrow. It's supposed to be 70 degrees.

Congratulations Ridley in a few days there you have really really cleaned up on some great jewelry finds and a good clad count both days. Sounds like you have hit a spot that has gone undetected for a while.

Awesome Jewelry!!!! Now that is a great precious metal 2 days.

Jeez! Keep it up and you are going to have to open your own smelter. :D Nice finds.

Rid,

Congrats on some awesome finds!
....maybe should hit this spot every week 'til ya come up empty???? :) :) .... just a thought.
i'd take all that jewelry.........but 'specially the angel ring :)

I hope you all find a nice spot like that too. In a way, I have you folks to thank.

Looking at this MB inspired me to explore new places again. Otherwise I'd never have even went there.

On a side note. I dug up about 150 zinc pennies today and lost the 3 quarters I found to a broken soda machine.

That's the way this hobby goes. It's all good.
